Montepino Logística receives three new LEED certifications
The company has been awarded these international quality and sustainability seals for the three buildings that comprise the business hub developed for Luís Simões in Guadalajara.
These awards take Montepino's total number of LEED certifications for its projects up to eight: two Gold, five Silver and one Certified. This places the company in the Top 3 most efficient turn-key providers in the national logistics market.

Montepino Logística, one of the largest logistics providers and asset managers in Spain, has been awarded three new LEED certifications for the three buildings that comprise the business hub developed for Luís Simões in Guadalajara.
These consist of two Silver seals (for units A and C) and one Gold certification (for unit B). They were awarded for the construction of three platforms in accordance with the international quality and sustainability standards endorsed by the US Green Building Council, which focus on the promotion of healthy, long-lasting and environmentally sound buildings, in terms of both design and construction.
The complex, which is formed of three buildings, occupies a total surface area of 91,575 m2 in the Puerta Centro – Ciudad del Transporte industrial estate in Guadalajara, which is a key strategic location and one of the largest logistics hubs on the Peninsula.
This operations centre is a unique space, featuring cutting-edge technology. It has been built according to quality standards providing the best features of the sector, guaranteeing intelligent management, security, efficiency and environmental sustainability.
According to Juan José Vera, the Director-General of Montepino, "these new international recognitions are further confirmation of our commitment to creating spaces which allow our operators to provide more efficient and environmentally friendly services." Similarly, he noted their desire to "turn the logistics of the future into the present" and that "the creation of logistics designs based on innovation, well-being and sustainability, always designed to fully optimise the supply chain and satisfy the demands, growth needs and comfort of each and every one of our clients, is in Montepino's DNA."
The awarding of these three new certifications takes Montepino Logística's total number of LEED certifications to eight: two Gold, five Silver and one Certified. 100% of its projects have now been awarded this international quality and sustainability seal, and the company has strengthened its position in the Top 3 most efficient turn-key providers in the national logistics market.
