Zaragoza, Tuesday 11th August 2020

Montepino Logística, one of the main developers and asset managers specialising in logistics in Spain, has added two new professionals to its staff to support its strategy to professionalise the company. Both of these professionals, who have strong backgrounds in finance and commerce, respectively, are joining the company's in-house team, which consists of over 30 qualified logistics experts, making it unique in its sector.

With these new additions, Montepino is strengthening its growth strategy and integral management, consolidating its leadership of the logistics industry. It already has a steady market share of over 45% and is aiming to exceed one million square metres of logistics surface area by the end of 2020.

Ramón Solano

Montepino's new financial director has extensive professional experience in managing financial companies linked to Aragón. Solano is taking up this new professional challenge after four years as the head of the financial department at Bantierra, Caja Rural de Aragón, the company where he has spent the majority of his career since he began his working life over 25 years ago at Caja Rural de Huesca and subsequently at Multicaja and Bantierra.

During the course of his professional career, he has held duties relating to auditing, treasury and markets, analysis and risk assessment and management, as well as for affiliated companies and real-estate assets, and he therefore has strong experience in the investment field.

In view of this, Solano considers this new stage to be an "exciting professional challenge and a great opportunity," and hopes that his financial experience will "bring Montepino Logística huge successes, strengthening their position as a leading national logistics company and consolidating their expansion in Europe."

Solano holds a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Zaragoza, a Master's degree in Auditing from the same university, an Executive MBA from CEREM and a Management Development Programme from IESE Business School.

Gonzalo Prado

Gonzalo Prado's professional career has always been focused on achieving maximum profit for his clients. With 20 years of experience in the commercial management of companies in the construction sector, Prado has been responsible for the purchase and sale of construction sites, account management and the coordination of different areas.

Montepino's new business developer has extensive experience in establishing market penetration strategies and asset management, and is therefore expected to become a key figure within the company's team for its development and expansion in national and international markets.

For Prado, "joining the Montepino family is a huge professional challenge due to the company's prospects and growth opportunities, as well as posing a great personal challenge." In this sense, Prado is convinced that "the success of the company is largely down to its team members, because the image it projects is that of the people who represent it."

Prado holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami and an Executive MBA in Marketing and Sales Management from IE Business School.
